I write uplifting, award-winning novels for tweens (and readers of all ages) who love horses, inspiring them to be more courageous, compassionate, and resilient. Horses play a big role in my books, but the heart of my writing revolves around themes of friendship, family, and the healing power of love and forgiveness.

I'm the mother of two adult children and live in Southern Maine, USA, with my husband, two adorably naughty cats, and the friendliest dog you’ll ever meet. My daughter and I share ownership of Max, a 28-year-old palomino miniature horse who loves to jump.
